Background

For more than 20 years, Judith has been helping organisations meet their Learning and Development objectives, blending her skills and experiences as:

• a conflict resolution specialist/mediator
• Employment Solicitor and HR Consultant, and
• Coach and Master NLP Practitioner.

Her specialist fields are workplace conflict resolution, industrial and employee relations, independent investigations, coaching and wellbeing/resilience projects. Judith has a particular interest in workplace culture and ethics.

Judith has delivered training for organisations in the public and private sectors and is at ease training at all levels of seniority in an organisation.

Typical training activities include training managers:

• to increase their confidence and competence in handling people issues, whether with customers/clients or colleague
• to be comfortable with the grey in managing people, making good choices around acting informally and using their discretions, applying company policies consistently and spotting when formal action needs to be taken – and safeguarding the organisation’s interests

• promoting diversity, respect and inclusion in the workplace
• handling challenging conversations
• promoting a listening culture and employee engagement
• raising performance
• main-stream employment law and practice topics, such as managing grievances, disciplinaries, investigations, redundancy, whistleblowing, etc
• mediation skills training
• industrial relations law and practice, including capacity building for employee reps, and
• cultural alignment following M&A activity.
